Diese Gruppe ist das Resultat von gedruckten Holzstücken im Atelier. Genaugenommen sind es Holzschnitte, die nach dem Druck mit einer gezeichneten „Leimkante“ versehen wurden. Damit standen sie auf einmal als eine Bauanleitung da, die man ausschneiden, falten und wieder zu dem Holzblock zusammenfügen konnte, von dem sie herkamen. Dies habe ich mit der ganzen Reihe durchgeführt und mich damit dem Originalobjekt wieder angenähert.

This group is the result of printed pieces of wood in the studio. They are actually woodcuts that were marked with a ‘glue edge’ after printing. This meant that they were suddenly available as building instructions that could be cut out, folded and reassembled into the block of wood from which they came. I did this with the whole row and got closer to the original object again.
