Auch wenn ich weder Architekt noch Stadtplaner bin, hat michdas Thema Tempelhofer Feld in der Verquickung mit dem dringend notwendigen Wohnungsbau doch sehr beschäftigt. 2017 habe ich dazu Skizzen angefertigt. Diese Arbeit hat sich verselbständigt und zu einer ganzen Reihe von spielerischen Lösungsvorschlägen geführt. Davon sind 50 als Linoldrucke gedruckt worden ist, die hier abgebildet sind.Der Fokus lag auf dem Potenzial von Grün, d.h. einer Erkundung der Farbe Grün sowie der Form des Freiraums. Dabeistand die Frage im Vordergrund, wie sich eine maximale Grün-fläche städtebaulich mit den Wohnquartieren verzahnen läßt.

Even though I am neither an architect nor an urban planner, the topic of Tempelhofer Feld in connection with the urgently needed housing construction has kept me very busy. In 2017, I made sketches about it. This work took on a life of its own and led to a whole series of playfulproposed solutions. Of these, 50 were printed as linocuts, which are shown here. The focus was on the potential of green, i.e. an exploration of the colour green and the form of open space. In doing so, the question of how a maximum green area can be dovetailed with the residential neighbourhoods in terms of urban development was at the forefront.

Dieses Künstlerbuch beschäftigt sich mit Umweltverschmutzung auf eine absurde Weise.Im Merian´scher Manier werden Plastikreste fein aquarelliert, die an der Küste angeschwemmt worden sind. Obwohl es sich um Müll handelt, wird durch die feine Darstellung der Eindruck von Präzisen erweckt.

This artist’s book deals with environmental pollution in an absurd way. In the manner of Merian, plastic debris washed up on the coast is finely watercoloured. Although it is rubbish, the fine depiction gives the impression of small treasures.
